T I P O T E C A is a workshop-driven, open source typographic resource, self-hosted and distributed through the Habitat server in Cà de Monti.
We pursue expressive, non-linear typography as a matter of proposing other potential expressions, processes and applications in the harsh world of typography. We strongly believe in the making, but mostly in mistaking.

Nail Salon is born from the foundation of the chicken coop. Spiky but caring, critical but accomodating, Nail Salon is used to build, to maintain and to nourish. Made during the Vernacular Care week between Habitat and Critical Studies, the letters were shaped and created by the nails that were pulled out of the wooden planks of the future chicken shelter.
