We pursue expressive, non-linear typography as a matter of proposing other potential expressions, processes and applications in the harsh world of typography. We strongly believe in the making, but mostly in mistaking.

“Birbi” is our first, shared attempt to make a font. It all started by collecting things and objects around the house and eventually rearranging them directly on the scanner. As for the title, we wanted to pay homage our first cat Birbi and her playfulness, driving us during the Megastudio residency in Cà de Monti, on November 2022.
