During the making of the 15th XPUB Special<br />
Issue, we experimented with tools to broadcast<br />
audio sources. After learning LiquidSoap, “a<br />
language for describing audio and video streams”,<br />
I’ve been using it to organise and schedule<br />
the execution of audio files. Matched with<br />
IceCast, a streaming media project released as<br />
free software, it’s possible to broadcast podcasts,<br />
compilations and live performances, given<br />
an online space. Thanks to new skills acquired,<br />
and expecting the online radio to be a possible<br />
communication tool for Habitat, I created<br />
the first Habitat Radio’s attempt, hosted in the<br />
