***Drawing potential narratives***

‘sketching the possible’ is a collection of finished / unfinished / imagined / left-half-way-through frammented material documenting and reflecting on the daily life experience of different artists-residents at Habitat.

Connected through the spontaneity of their form, drawings, maps, signs, impulses, have been compiled as an open-ended dialogue between different types of works. While singularly, every sketch is drawn from (or through) a lived experience, becoming a window into the creative process of each individual artist, alltogether, the material embodies an ensable of ideas reflecting on the immediate relation between experience, creativity and environment. 

The content of this publication is part of a wider process and ongoing research into generative and relational reading approaches and into unexplored narrability (potential re-tellings) of the stories, events, happenings which took place at Habitat in the past years of its activity.  The desire of this publication is to offer the reader the possibility of a perfomative approach to the archival material. At the core of this reading-activation lies the praxis of re-enactment. To re-enact is to re-visit, re-think, re-stage the unexhausted capacities of a told story or past event. Re-enacting the archive becomes a performative tool, a way not to crystalyze an affirmative past but to challenge and activate its potential meanings.
