Spontaneous vegetation is defined as a group of plants that are specific to the Habitat in which they grow, and which nourish themselves through the natural elements that have the ability to help them develop. The wild plant is in fact a plant that spontaneously grew in the place in which we can find it, where there have been the best conditions for it to settle and expand. To spontaneously grow, doesn’t mean to grow easily. The spontaneous act in itself requires synergy and collaboration of forces, a communal effort. To grow means to impact, and to be impacted. Plants, through the way they are built by nature, teach us about decentralized power and horizontal collaboration. To be a spontaneous plant means to be fluid and adaptive, but also focused and receptive toward what the environment can offer in a specific time and space. To be a spontaneous plant means to be persistent, tenacious, and stubborn. Yet, to be a spontaneous plant also entails not demanding from the environment what it can’t give. valorizing qualities, making them thrive, without the careless act of exploiting. We are also an attempt at spontaneous-vegetation- to- be. Growing, and expanding, in the specific territory that had all the qualities for this ecosystem to grow and flourish. Trying to get the best out of each individual, without asking what one can’t give. In an attempt to respect the ground we dwell in, the relationships we mold, and the collaborations we cherish.
